Happy Friday all!

After being stranded in the house in my PJs most of this week and then stranded in my car for four hours today trying to get home from work, I'm beyond ready to get out of here this weekend.

Tomorrow is my friends' annual The Ones You Love party - an annual Valentines get-together of our group of guys and girls. I can't wait to see everyone. It's always a fun time.

What are you up to this weekend? Let's hear it :)

How sweet are these designs by British artist Robert Ryan.

Ryan's inspired paper-cuts and screenprints have been featured in Vogue, in collaborations with designer Paul Smith, and have graced a number of book and album covers.

Check out his book This is For You - a magical, romantic tale of thoughts and dreams and love and loneliness. Each page has been handcut and handpainted. Perfect for a lovers' holiday.

lovers on the run

This weekend I am going to my friends' annual The Ones You Love valentines day party - perfect for both singles and doubles. Instead of searching high and low for a date or spending a special evening with someone you hopefully already spend special evenings with, a bunch of us get together and have a fun night.

Now the requirement is for everyone to wear red or pink, but I've never been too fond of that rule. I'm not fond of the holiday itself, actually. I think every day should be a day of romance. So, I'm a rebel and I wear blue (the color I love).

I'm happy to say that I will be sporting this little baby this year - being made right as we speak by the wonderful Amy of Every Little Counts.

Who doesn't love a pair of lovers on the run. It doesn't get much more romantic than that :)
