So much fun: classic landscapes and Victorianesque hand-cut silhouettes are the backdrop for some pretty funny captions by Wilhelm Staehle in his Silhouette Masterpiece Theatre series.

I ffffound this hysterical series the other day while perusing the internet during one of my sick-at-home days.

London-based artist Linzie Hunter experiments with hand-lettering and illustration. Typically she is inspired by all things vintage. But for this series, it was the spam emails haunting her inbox that, ahem, gave rise to the project.

Such a clever idea. I mean, how much do you giggle when you spot those naughty spam emails. Now, you can tastefully hang them in your living room :)
