I'm not sure what it is - perhaps my desire for cooler weather and fall clothes, or my recent obsession with all things retro - but I'm loving a little mod lately.

So, understandably, I'm quite intrigued by the Autumn 2009 line by Dear Creatures.

Drawing inspiration from Mid-Century America, this beautifully feminine collection conjures up imagery of the girl scout of the '60s, camping and tee pees, kaleidoscopes and school uniforms.

I love this modern, yet whimsical, interpretation of classic Americana. Gorgeous.
