Stemming off of her fascination with psychology and human phobic fears, artist Carrie Bilbo created a collection of jewels - The Attachment of Fear - that are meant to connect and interact with the body.
These edgy, wearable sculptures feature silver branches, gleaming cicadas and bejeweled spiders. All represent the beauty of nature but connect with the body via texture and color - evoking a chilling natural response both physically and psychologically.
Such a unique concept. Strangely real, yet impeccably crafted and wearable.
