one for me, one for you

Inspired by friendship bracelets, Indian summers, and Southwestern colors, these hand-woven cotton necklaces by Kate Miss conjure up memories of my childhood.

My friends and I spent so much of our summers picking out threads and weaving them into colorful designs before we tied them onto eachother's wrists and ankles and headed outdoors to play.  It was just as much a summer pastime as riding bikes, playing hiding and seek and chasing down the ice cream man.

I adore Kate's grown-up styling - if for nothing else but the nostalgia.

See more on her site For Me, For You.

Her blog is beautiful, too.
