rags and run

Ever get the urge to just run away - to get in your car and start driving, no turning back... ?

I never knew that feeling until just a couple days ago when, so quickly, my world started closing in on me.

It's time for some big changes, and it starts today. It's time to focus on me and what I want, rather than give everything I have for someone else.

Plan number one: make this weekend a great one. And perhaps start in on some DIY's that I have been promising for so long. I haven't made anything in awhile and I think it's just the de-stressor I need :)

Hope you have a great weekend, too.

xoxo

P.S. Don't forget about the giveaway - only a few more days!

I just came across your blog and wanted to say I wish you all the best. I know that feeling all too well, and the only thing to do about it is to really take your life by the reigns and make some changes. Best of luck!

Oh, I definitely know that feeling. Like in Chocolat when Juliette Binoche's character is called to move on by the wind {have you seen that movie?}, I sometimes get this irrepressible urge to be somewhere else other than where I am.

I hope you have a great weekend and figure things out!

i know that feeling as well. i had to literally run away for a couple of weeks and go see my best friend who lives out of state. even though i had to come back and things were still the way i had left them, my trip away was nice to just take some time off from thinking about those things that i was escaping from. it also helps to seriously keep yourself occupied with other (and better) things. it sounds like that's what you're doing. :) good luck re-finding yourself! have fun!
