We actually named our new-ish dog "Bodhi" (remember him?) after Swayze's character in Point Break, as we have always loved the name. You may also see some *hair* resemblance here :)

Red Dawn is one of my favorite movies, so sad.

Yes...i remember Breaking Point. It's one of my hubs favorites!!!
Dirty Dancing though...that's a classic and WILL always go down in history. "Ditto"...who could forget that saying??!!

very sad indeed. one of the classics, and funnier moments i will always remember is his skit with chris farley doing the chipendales dance. i could watch that over and over and it always puts me in a good mood.
Cancer really is a horrible disease. I really liked him in the film, "City of Joy." He was an excellent actor
So with you on that, such a big part of my growing up too. I am with Val on the Chippendale's dance skit. That always made me giggle. xoxo
I'm really sad because he's such a talented actor and you know he only sticks with one regular woman unlike those crazy weirdo celebrities. He will be missed :(
I grew up loving Dirty Dancing and watching it constantly. He will definitely be missed! It's pretty amazing that he kept working at such an advanced stage of his illness.
