smart & stylish
Fashion illustrator and husband of Isabel Toledo, Ruben Toledo, has put his talent to work for the likes of Harper's Bazaar,The New Yorker and Vogue. Now he's trying his hand at the classics, designing three dreamy covers for Penguin's Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights and The Scarlet Letter. The books come out August 25th, just in time for New York Fashion Week.
I love the Tim Burton-esque feel of the Wuthering Heights cover, but I think P&P might be my favorite - but that might be because of tall and lanky Mr. Darcy up there ;)
For more on this super-talented couple, see Isabel and Ruben's exhibition A Marriage of Art and Fashion here.
P.S. don't forget about my GIVEAWAY!

These covers are almost too fabulous to handle. I want to frame them all and hang them near my little bookcase.

Bring on the fall weather. I love to be bundled with many layers. Gray is an absolute staple color in any wardrobe.
