London-based artist Linzie Hunter experiments with hand-lettering and illustration. Typically she is inspired by all things vintage. But for this series, it was the spam emails haunting her inbox that, ahem, gave rise to the project.
Such a clever idea. I mean, how much do you giggle when you spot those naughty spam emails. Now, you can tastefully hang them in your living room :)
P.S. A book of the series, Secret Weapon: 30 Hand-Painted Spam Postcards, was published by Chronicle Books last fall. Shop it here.

How do you track down this stuff?
Those are the coolest things!!
That is hilarious and creative all at once.
For some horrible reason I can't get your post to show up in my feed reader or in my blogger home page. It's making it sad and hard to keep track of you fun stuff. Any ideas?
I love her work. I love that her work makes my eyes happy while making me giggle. xoxo
These are so funny!!! Are they spam?
Yes ALL actual spam messages that the artist received.
As for where I find most of my stuff: I read ALOT of different blogs/news & mag sites/ in my spare time and those all lead me to other sites and so on and so on. This one I found on ffffound.com, as I mentioned up top! I try my best to reference them all (if I can remember where I originally saw it!)
