Designer and Painter Richard Lee wishes he were a minimalist. But, like any good hoarder, he just can't seem to part ways with the overflow of great stuff in his apartment.
And I totally get it.
Not only is his apartment a flattering showcase for his tremendous art collection, it has great character, echoing that of an old family home. And, as ostentatious as it may seem - with its touches of gilding and early 19th century royal furniture - Lee’s place actually contains a lot of DIY.
Um, swoon.

I agree with the swooning! Me too.
Awesome apartment!
wow wow wow and more wow! I understand what he means when he tries to be a minimalist.. The thing is, when you've collected so much stuff you love, you can't bear to part with it!
Wow I love this apartment... I'm definitely stealing some ideas.
