Friendship Around the World by Miriam Elizabeth Lowery, Age 5
Doodle 4 Google is a competition where students K-12 are invited to try their hands at designing a new homepage logo based on the original Google design. With this year's theme, "What I Wish for the World," Google is asking U.S. students to think big and dream big, considering all the recent developments seen the world over.
Here are a few of my favorites:
Cleaner Oceans for the World by Elizabeth Keto, Age 13
I Wish by Meaghan Parker, Age 17
Gilding Over our Great Loving Earth by Iysis Ruiz, Age 9
Lets Heal the Planet by Zoe Brants, Age 12
One World One God by Sameek Das, Age 8
Houses for All by Michael Nloria, Age 8
Time to Go Home by Demitri Miller, Age 18
To witness these students take on such big topics (world peace, a healthier environment, freedom of expression, religious unity!) , gives me hope for the world. Please support these talented students by voting.
Choose the National Finalists by voting online between May 11th - 18th. The winner will appear on Google.com on May 21st.

Children actually made it? whoa I'm so lacking of artistic talent, I like friendship around the world so much :)
I know -- it's so crazy! These kids have more talent at age 5 than a lot of adults. I can't get over it!
These are gorgeous! How can children be so talented?!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
And thanks for your lovely comments earlier :)
oh wow...those kids are so talented. I especially love the second one. =)
Thanks for the vote. All these are amazing. Makes me wish I had artistic skills.
